Here is a good assemblage of big city layouts and they all agreed that the patriotic angle shouldn’t be overlooked. They also managed to concentrate on the feminine angle, which is important, also. Name strength not being too big, the admen sold the title, and didn’t overlook saleable shorts, especially the ” Lincoln ” subject. Wc did not see the star studded " Wings of the Navy” in the pressbook, but this seems to be a goo l choice and stands out more than the reverse plates because of the novelty lettering. One reason why this page is so important is that it represents a variety of layouts. The boys seem divided between defense, patriotism , romance, thrills and what have you and all of them might be included if possible. They all used several names in the cast as even Frank McHugh, John Litel, Victor Jory, John Payne, and Henry O’Neill have some draw. March 1, 1939
