We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

Fitted with springs, bottoms of unoccupied chairs are automatically raised to a 45-degree angle. Unwinding reels are seen in the especially designed carpet. THE LOUNGE, the furniture of which was especially designed by the famous Finnish architect, Aalto, is unique in construction. The pieces are upholstered in gay fabrics. Broad ply-wood arms are constructed of several layers of native Finnish birch, giving a resiliency comparable to that of spring-framed, tubular metal chairs. The walls are done to resemble wall paper. The floor is covered with deep-pile broadloom carpeting.
