This layout is particularly interesting because it highlights modification of the pressbooks.
In the case of the Buffalo ad, there was one slight change in copy, with the lines below the theatre name changed to conform to local ideas. The Syracuse ad is directly
out of the pressbook, with only a change for the other show on the twin bill.
Trenton’s ad is strictly pressbook, or the top half of what the pressbook has to offer. Atlantic City took part of pressbook ads and put them together.
We like the Harrisburg entry, particularly as it works in the retiring feature and as it plugs the short.
Philadelphia also turns in its usual good ad. That Stanley-Warner department has been doing a consistently nice job.
The Crosby show has been doing a nice business and is the first to be booked into Radio City Music Hall in New York City, so it is quite evident that this is one of those pictures which has the essentials.
