18 THE EXHIBITOR Principle, Babb In Deal Wilmington, Ohio — Kroeger Babb, presi¬ dent, Hygienic Productions, Inc., last week announced signing of contracts involving production and distribution of a Cinecolor film with Principle Films, Inc., Lawton, Okla., headed by Neil Bogan and a group of industrialists and oilmen of the south¬ west. The project is completion and dis¬ tribution of the film temporarily named “The Lawton Story,” depicting the life of Christ as represented in the huge Easter annual pageant given at Lawton, Okla. Babb has guaranteed that the completed film will have its world premiere at Lawton, Okla., during Easter week, 1949, and that it will be released in six other points at that time, with units involving a minia¬ ture choir, proper music, etc. St. Louis Review Refused Washington — The U. S. Supreme Court last week refused to review the damage action of the St. Louis Amusement Com¬ pany against various distributors and the American Arbitration Association. The court thereby sustained a lower court’s refusal to rule out clearance awards under the 1940 consent decree.
