Will please any kind of patronage, old, young, black or white. I had a number of my patrons say, 'Please give us some more of Margarita Fisher's plays. — Ed. S. Wegener, Lyric theatre, Valley Jet., Ia. — Neighborhood patronage. The Intrusion of Isabella, with Mary Miles Minter. — Mary Miles Minter is very popular with my patrons. All her plays are good. — Albert Waner, Acme theatre, Aransas Pass, Texas. — Small town patronage. Artcraft The Knickerbocker Buckeroo, with Douglas Fairbanks. — Some one said this was a poor one. Doug never made a better one except "His Majesty." — L. P. Charles, Grand theatre, Chetek, Wis. — Neighborhood patronage. He Comes Up Smiling, with Douglas Fairbanks. — Good enough picture but the Stultz Motor people should pay exhibitor for running it. Patrons beginning to comment on Fairbanks' advertising stunts. They walked out on this. — C. E. Waughop, Scenic theatre, Detroit, Minn. — Small town patronage. A Society Exile, with Elsie Ferguson. — Drew well and picture liked. — J. H. Henry, Empire theatre, Winchester, Va. A Doll's House, with Elsie Ferguson. — Story is rather weak. Play was about the poorest we ever had. — W. C. Cleeton, Gem theatre, Higbee, Mo. — Small town patronage. Johnny Get Your Gun, with Fred Stone. — Fine, everybody pleased. — H. A. Giles, Link theatre, Walkerton, Ind. — Neighborhood patronage. The Money Corral, with William S. Hart. — Fair. Not enough action. Picture too dark. — A. R. Bud, Opera House, Arlington, Ia. — General patronage. Wagon Tracks, with William S. Hart. — Fine picture and business. — J. H. Henry, Empire theatre, Winchester, Va. First National The Hoodlum, with Mary Pickford. — Good but not as good as Daddy Long Legs, though many said they liked it better. Good business. — Mrs. Lon Bacon, Pastime theatre, Itasca, Tex. — Neighborhood patronage. Back to God's Country, with Nell Shipman. — Two days to capacity. Fine picture. Will repeat on this one. — M. J. Kohn, West theatre, Trinidad, Colo. The Romance of Tarzan, with Elmo Lincoln. — Went over big. Patrons remarked they were pleased. — A. P. Harsey, Liberty theatre, Des Moines, N. M. Back to God's Country, with Nell Shipman. — Very fine picture. Drew nice business and gave satisfaction to all at advanced admission. — J. H. Henry, Empire theatre, Winchester, Va. A Temperamental Wife, with C. Talmadge. — Fair comedy drama. Drew only fair. A. C. Klug, Empress theatre, Zumbrota, Minn. — General patronage. Daddy Long Legs, with Mary Pickford. — A crackerjack picture. Pleased all at increased prices. We hit bad weather but will say that the picture drew well in spite of that. — Majestic theatre, Oakland, Nebr. — Small town patronage. The Midnight Romance, with Anita Stewart. — Good show. Drew well ana suited everybody. — E. L. Franck, Oasis theatre, Ajo, Ariz. — Neighborhood patronage. Empty Pockets, with Bert Lytell. — This is a good picture. — A. C. Klug, Empress theatre, Zumbrota, Minn. — — General patronage. The Romance of Tarzan, with Elmo Lincoln. — Drew big, story widely read. BEATRICE JOY Who plays the part of Rosalie Eventnrail in "The Right of Way," opposite Bert Lytell, a Screen Classics, Inc., production distributed by Metro. Everybody satisfied. — J. A. Burgum, Movie theatre, Arthur, N. D. — Neighborhood patronage. Daddy Long Legs, with Mary Pickford. — Good picture to good business. Book it and advertise it big. — Wm. Tongate, Star theatre, Carlisle, Ind. — General patronage. Bill Apperson's Boy, with Jack Pickford. — Good picture. Good business two days. — Joe C. Staak, Royal theatre, Carroll, Ia. — General patronage. A Temperamental Wife, with Constance Talmadge. — Very good. Business the same. This star is fast becoming a puller. — Opera House, Pfeiffer Bros., Kenton, Ohio. — General patronage. Daddy Long Legs, with Mary Pickford. — No better than a lot of extra good program pictures. — Harry Pace, Lyric theatre, Orange City, Ia. — Critical patronage. The Hoodlum, with Mary Pickford. — Not so well advertised as Daddy Long Legs and didn't get the patronage deserved. Splendid picture with plenty of good comedy. — Casino theatre, J. D. Woodbeck, Kissimmee, Florida. — General patronage. Virtuous Wives, with Anita Stewart. — Although late in playing we received a perfect print. In fact our Omaha office always keeps new prints on all pictures. Pleased and drew capacity business. — R. R. Booth, Paramount theatre, Nebraska City, Neb. — General patronage. Daddy Long Legs, with Mary Pickford.— One of the best pictures ever shown. Can be counted on to please everyone and at any place. — William Noble, Overholser theatre, Oklahoma City, Okla. — General patronage. The Hoodlum, with Mary Pickford. — Cashed in on this. All fans from six to sixty years of age will enjoy it. Good for an extended run. Mary is quite comical as a rowdy. — Chas. H. Ryan, Garfield theatre, Chicago, 111. — Neighborhood patronage. Auction of Souls, with Aurora Mardiganian. — Business beyond my expectations. Will pull anywhere if properly advertised. — Harry S. Carter, Mary Anderson theatre, Louisville, Ky. — Transient patronage. Auction in Souls, with Aurora Mardiganian. — A very good picture, but gruesome. Not altogether pleasing. — J. H. Henry, Empire theatre, Winchester, Va, Tarzan of the Apes, with Elmo Lincoln.— Waited a long time before I ran this one but it drew big business. They liked it so well that I will play the next 137
