Hays as he signed a contract to head a new association of motion picture producers and distributors. The postmaster general will assume his new dutie: on or about March 5. Every available police, fireman and soldier in the vicinity of the capital was rushed to the scene following the disaster. Charles L. O'Reilly, chief executive, will preside at the convention of the Motion Picture Theatre Owners of New York State at Albany on February 14, 15 and 16. Plans are being made for the state's greatest exhibitor get-together. The sessions will be held at the Hotel Ten Eyck.
