August 19, 1922 EXHIBITORS HERALD 25 'CAP'N KIDD" WHEN I say that "CAP'N KIDD" is my greatest serial I know what I am talking about. The very name, "CAP'N KIDD", suggests violent action on land and sea and you can take it from me, THERE IS! When we had the fight in the burning inn nobody ever cared very much whether we were roasted a bit so long as the fire was realistic. We fought all over the building in a perfect rain of hot cinders, falling beams and blazing chunks of wood. It was the same through every chapter, realism run riot! Then, I had a "hand picked" company for "CAP'N KIDD". / could say no more if I wrote a book on the subject. CELEBRATED PLAYERS FILM CORPORATION 0 So. Wabash Ave. CHICAGO Toy Building MILWAUKEE 144 W.
