There is no question about the paying qualities of these ads, for the men who made them up are notably successful and consistently so as the years meander by. The upper half of the page reproduces ads sent in by Cliff Lewis, Strand theatre, Syracuse, N. Y., and the lower half carries the work of Thomas S. Daley, Schine Theatrical Co., Inc., Gloversville, N. Y. Both men are among those youthful veterans who began with the beginning of this ancient department and have contributed liberally to its support and development for no other reason than that they are showmen and feel that way.
