Out Where the Ice Is Thickest Shooting Scenes for “The Thundering Herd” — Part of the huge company of staff members on location high in the Sierras of California getting scenes for the Zane Grey story. William K. Howard directed the production. Jack Holt, Lois Wilson, Noah Beery, Raymond Hatton and Charles Ogle have prominent parts.
