Police surround the house in a classic stand-off. But inside, a deadly black mamba snake has escaped from its cage... travelling from room to room in the ventilation ducts, adding the element of terror to the suspense-charged story. The cast is headed by Sterling Hayden, Sarah Miles, Oliver Reed, Klaus Kinski, Nicol Williamson and Susan George.
