To support the film and television industry in New Brunswick we Offer: 40% New Brunswick Film Labour Tax Credit To encourage the hiring of New Brunswick residents, New Brunswick Film manager a refundable labour-based film tax credit that provides a rebate to a maximum of 40% of eligible salaries paid to New Brunswick residents. Eligible wages cannot exceed 50% of the total costs of production. The value of this 40% Labour Tax Credit may be included as part of the calculation of a production company's equity in a production. When New Brunswick Film determines that it is in the best interest of the Province, New Brunswick Film may waive the requirement that the NB Film Labour Tax Credit apply only to wages of New Brunswick residents.
