In-depth studies of the many and multifaceted crafts that are required in production provide a solid basis for second-year specialization. Essentially, the program is a hands-on endeavour and operates on a production company concept with the instructor as executive producer. Emphasis is place on duplication of the film industry. Budget and pre-production are treated equally with production and post-production. In addition to the film core subjects the student will take a number of general subjects complementing film production. Graduates may find junior levels of employment in every area of the film industry. These include production, camera, lighting, sound, editing and writing.
