PEI Film prioritizes its financial support for indigenous producers, but will invest in Canadian and international coproductions where a local producer shares a significant interest in the creative and financial risks and rewards associated with the production. Financial Incentives PEI Film delivers a number of programs designed to assist in the funding of new film and television projects, including the PEI Labour Rebate Program, which provides producers with a direct 30% refund on PEI residents employed on eligible productions. PEI Film also delivers the PEI Equity Investment Program for indigenous producers to assist in the financing of eligible production projects.
