Location Services
We read your scripts, provide digital photographs, do initial location site searches and if you come and visit New Brunswick we offer you a personalized location scouting tour, no filming permit fees and we can match you with a New Brunswick producer who can be a co-producer or a local service provider.
Film Festivals
We sponsor the New Brunswick Festival international du cinema francophone en Acadie, and the Tidal Wave Film Festival, as well as the Atlantic Canada Film Festival.

Location Services
NSFDC actively promotes Nova Scotia’s beautiful locations including modern urban settings, historic sites, quaint fishing villages, lush green forests, rolling hills, and rugged coastlines. With an extensive location library NSFDC’s Location Officer is pleased to offer a variety of settings to perfectly capture your project. NSFDC will also provide a location scouting service to a maximum of two days for visiting producers.
The CBC/NSFDC Bridge Award
This award is granted to eligible emerging producers to produce a half-hour or one-hour long television production. It is a combination of a regional broadcast licence from the CBC, CBC services and an NSFDC equity investment.
