Not only would the synchronisation between musie and film action be brought to its highest state, but the film would become invested with an added interest and artistic value, inasmuch as the musical merit of the score would certainly add to the life of the film, and could even very often furnish an excuse for its revival. Here is a field for many of our composers who, provided the financial remuneraticn were adequate, could start work in close co-operation with the producer and produce a score for a film just as they proluce one on the scenario of an opcra or ballet.
