Teachers and Interest Films.
The teaching profession in London is evincing great interest in Regent Films’ ‘ Secrets of Nature,’’ as a result of the articles und illustrations which have appeared in one of the scholastic weekly journals describing the series. A Committee of the London Teachers’ Association have approached the com. pany and arrangements have been made to screen some of the films to a select few of the Committee next Thursday. This is an instance of the interest the teaching profession have in good interest films, and exhibitors who have booked good films of this class might do worse than use the good offices of teachers to obtain a public for such pictures.

A Comedy Record.
Ten thousand picture theatres in the United Kingdom and America have contracted to show the new geries of Christie Special Comedies which the Gaumont Company, . ‘* Flames of Passion,’’ the British film drama presented at the New Oxford Theatre yesterday, has cost over £50,000. In all 120,000 feet of film were exposed and the length of the picture is 10,000 feet. A full review of this production will appear next week,

A Fascinating Prologue.
A most fascinating prologue was put on the stage of the London Pavilion on Wednesday last previous to the screening of ‘* The Queen of the Moulin Rouge.’’ The footlights went up, and the curtain was drawn showing a brightly illuminated interior suggesting a café. Then there entered some half-dozen couples, who, after dancing, went arm in arm and conversing
