She wins the right to work three days on the paper. The editor gives the girls weird assignments, but Bonita swaps hers for one handed the top reporter on the paper; namely, covering an inquest. The inquest evolves into the indictment of Astiid Allwyn for murder. Bonita's sleuthing subsequently discloses her innocence.
