Willis Bright Is in Line As First Div. Treasurer
Willis Bright, former Vitagraph executive, is slated for election as treasurer of First Division, it is understood, at a meeting of its board of directors today. He succeeds Dario Farralla, who recently resigned to join Paramount.
Matters in connection with the company's future will be discussed at the session.

London (By Cable) — -Distribution of British & Dominions pictures through the new company being formed by C. M. Woolf is reported likely. Woolf has been reported going to New York soon in connection with his new enterprise.
GB Winds Up Convention
With the regular convention sessions concluded yesterday, GB branch managers will confer with George W. Weeks in individual conferences today at the company's home office. Several pictures, including "Loves of a Dictator," will be screened. The conventioneers leave New York tonight for their respective territories.
S. R. Kent and N. L. Nathanson were among speakers at yesterday's session. A wire from Frank C. Walker was read. Last night Arthur A. Lee and Weeks played host to the delegates at a French Casino banquet.
"G Men" Starts Fifth Week "G Men," Warner picture starring James Cagney, begins its fifth week today at the New York Strand. "Oil for the Lamps of China" will open next Wednesday evening, instead of tonight.
Gene Rymond on Air
Gene Raymond, who recently arrived in New York from a personal appearance tour, will be guest artist on Rudy Vallee's radio program tomorrow night. Raymond will play a scene from "The Three Musketeers." His latest film is RKO's "Hoorav for Love."
Palace Opens Day Earlier
RKO Palace will open its new bill tomorrow instead of Friday, due to the Memorial Dav holidav. Katharine Hepburn in "Break of Hearts" will be the screen feature, plus vaudeville.
Pictures of the McLarnin-Ross fight are scheduled to open today in all RKO metropolitan houses.
Onenintr Musiic Hall Playground Georgie Covle. Radio City Music Hall usher who is considered the country's outstanding flyweight boxer, will fight an exhibition bout at the official opening of the playground roof atop the Music Hall on Friday night.
Anglo-Amer. Renters Planning to Make 10-12
Between 10 and 12 features will be produced by Anglo-American Renters at is Independent Producers studio, Elstree, England, during the new year. First picture will be "Give Me a Chance, Madam," a musical with John Hendi'ik, British Broadcasting tenor sensation who starts work July 15.

On Release of Series
A releasing deal for a series of pictures he plans to produce is being arranged by Lou Ostrow, who has arrived in New York from the coast. He left the Universal producing ranks on May 15.
Cukor With Selznick
George Cukor is understood allying himself with David O. Selznick in the latter's new production venture. He will direct under the plan as well as have part of the company. Cukor and Selznick are now working together as director and producer, respectively, at M-G-M.
Columbia Meet in Chicago
Columbia will hold its annual sales meteting in Chicago next month when announcement will be made concerning its 1935-36 program.
Joe Cook, Keaton Re-Signed Joe Cook and Buster Keaton have been signed for new Educational comedy series, it was announced yesterday by E. W. Hammons before departing for the Fox convention in Chicago.
Sparks at Legislative Session Jacksonville, Fla. — E. J. Sparks flew in today from Miami and proceeded immediately bv motor to Tallahassee to attend the final sessions of Legislature which closes Friday. So far all film bills have been defeated.

Miami Beach, Fla. — Wometco Theaters is about to erect a new house on Lincoln Road. This will be a 1,000-seater and reports indicate it will excel anvthing now operating on the Beach.
