Stop-gap NRA Bill Signed by President Washington Bureau of THE FILM DAILY Washington — Extension of the NRA until April 1, but without compulsory codes, was approved yesterday by the House. Schaefer to the Paramount sales convention delegates in session at the Waldorf-Astoria. Herzbrun and Lubitsch, who have been in New York for talks with Paramount administration executives, returned to the coast last night to work out a plan of studio management which will be in complete harmony with the New York distribution department.
