LUNCH Washington Bureau of THE FILM DAILY Washington — The electrics won the so-called licensing rights case yesterday when the U. S. Supreme Court by a 5-1 decision held that the General Talking Pictures Corp. was not within its rights in leasing licensed amplifiers in pix theaters and had instead infringed on the patent rights of Western Electric, Erpi and subsidiaries.
