West Coast Bureau of THE FILM DAILY Hollywood — A Golden Anniversary party, celebrating the 50th Hopalong Cassidy Western, will be given by Producer Harry Sherman for William Boyd, tomorrow. "Riders of the Deadline," a United Artists release is number 50. Guests will include cast, many of whom have worked on the whole series, and the production crew.
Breen Going Over CIAA Film Program at Capital

six weeks at this time, Joseph I. Breen, PCA director, is expected to return here occasionally for additional consultation with the CIAA motion picture division. Breen is not actually employed by the Government, but has been loaned by the MPPDA to serve in an advisory capacity.
While here he has been going over the entire film program of the agency, sitting in on policy meetings, and so on. When he returns to the Coast he will keep in frequent touch with the CIAA office in Hollywood, and will probably come to Washington at frequent intervals
