Rank Company Advances B & H Production Rate Chicago — Production schedules for the Bell & Howell equipment being manufactured in Britain by J. Arthur Rank's British Acoustic Films, Ltd., have been increased on three different occasions, H. R. A. De Jonge, Rank representative, reported on a visit to the B & H plant here. De Jonge reported that the manufacturing program is progressing satisfactorily, despite labor and material shortages, with a substantial quantity of 16 mm. sound projectors already shipped to British and foreign markets.
