New House To Surpass The Chicago (.Special to THE FILM DAILY) Chicago — Plans for the new Uptown theater to be erected by Balaban & Katz show that the house will exceed in size the Chicago. The new house will have at least 500 more seats. Work on the structure was started Monday.
