Cleveland — Keith's and Loew's circuits in Cleveland each will show 50 per cent of Paramount and First National product this season, according to Frank A. Hines, manager of Keith's Palace.
Bid for Windsor Theater
Windsor, Ont. — Famous Players Canadian (Zorp., Toronto, has offered to purchase the business and assets of the Windsor Capitol Theater, Ltd., for $250,000 cash, a deposit of $25,000 having been made to bind the deal in the event of shareholders accepting. The Capitol is now under lease to Famous with a period of five years yet to run.
Toronto Restrictions Removed
Toronto — -A by-law which prohibited the erection of any theater in the Vaughan Road section has been repealed to pave the way for a house on Oakwood Ave. by Bert Grant of Toronto at a cost of $80,000. Harry D. Martin has prepared plans.
Capitol, St. Louis, to Reinstate Sound
St. Louis — Skouras Brothers plan to close the Capitol within the next two weeks so that Western Electric ctjuipment may be installed. The Capitol was the first sound picture house in St. Louis but the equipment was taken out after several weeks run.
New All-Talker on Coast

Los Angeles — "Fog" (Warners) is playing at the Metropolitan. This is the first all-dialogue film for this theater.
Robert Florey in N. Y. Robert Florey, producer and director, who has just signed a long term contract with Paramount, is in New York. Florey recently attracted attention by producing "The Life of an Extra" at a total cost of $97.

TWIN CITY INVASION OUT AS FOX SET WITH F.&R.
Minneapolis — Abandonment of Fox's plan for invasion of the Twin Cities is seen as a result of the deal closed by Northwest Theater Circuit (Finkelstein & Ruben) for Fox product next year. The deal was closed by James R. (Jimmy) Grainger, general sales manager, prior to his departure for Omaha and the Coast.
