Film Week For German Trade
Washington Bureau of THE FILM DAILY Washington — A German Film Week will be held in Baden-Baden and Breslau during September, advises a report to the M. P. Division of the Dept. of Commerce. Producers have agreed to lend their best productions of the year for showing during the festivities. All German producers will be invited to attend the Film Week.

Photophone Sales Heads in Middle West Named
Chicago — A. L. Aved has been named Minneapolis C. W. Perry, Milwaukee, N. J., Porske, St. Louis and E. G. Hancock, Indianapolis representatives of RCA-Photophone. The announcement was made by I. W. Brown, district manager with headquarters here.
Warner Common on $3 Basis
Common stock of Warners has been placed on a $3 dividend basis, with declaration of an extra dividend of 12^ cents. Dividend of 75 cents will be paid on the stock Sept. 1 to holders of record Aug. 10. Regular dividend of 55 cents on the preferred has been declared also.
Planning New Company
Frank R. Wilson and M. J. Weisfeldt, who are distributing "Simba," are reported to be planning formation of new company.
Hart Now at Clearwater

Frank Burke Heads R-K-0 Publicity Force in South
Minneapolis — Frank Burke, manager of the Hemi'epin-Orpheum here, has been named publicity and exploitation director for Radio-Keith-Orpheum in the southern territory, with headquarters at St. Louis. His jurisdiction includes Kansas City, Memphis and New Orleans. Edward A. Furni of the St. Paul Orpheum will succeed Burke here.
F. N. Stock Called
First National Pictures has called for redemption on Oct. 1 all its outstanding 7 per cent, second preferred A and 7 per cent second preferred B stock at par and accrued dividends. On July 1 First National Picture^ retired all its outstanding participation 8 per cent first preferred.
Flavin to Handle Radio Publicity
Harold Flavin, who has been handling trade paper publicity for Paramount, is to be placed in charge of radio publicity for the Columbia broadcasting chain, in which Paramount recently acquired one-half interest.
