The Rosenberg group lias solid 52.63 per cent of its quota, while the Western division sales staif has disposed of 42.72 per cent. Paramount Likely to Increase Dividend While no announcement has been made in view of the record earnings of ParamountFamous-Lasky and the fact that they will shortly split their stock two for one it is understood that on January First when the split goes into effect the dividend on the new stock will be at the rate of $2.00 a share. The equipping of its theaters for talking pictures has impelled the company to drop vaudeville entertainment from the programs of many of its units. 4 S & H Houses Bought; Hughes to Remain as Fox Manager Omaha — Fox expansion in this territory has taken a definite hold with the purchase by the company of the four S & H Amusement Enterprises houses, consisting of the Imperial and Rialto at Alliance, Trail, Bridgeport and one of the company's two houses at Bayard. The deal is reported to involve more than $140,000. Ben Sallows and J. E. Hughes were owners of the four houses. Sallows is publisher of the Alliance Times-Herald. Hughes is to remain as Fox manager of the Alliance houses. 80 Per Cent of Tiffany Product Available in Silent Versions Upon his return to New York from a ten weeks' trip through the Middle and Far West, where he addressed numerous exhibitor meetings on behalf of the company's franchise plan, Oscar Hanson, general sales manager of Tiffany Productions, said: "I have found independent exhibi tors everywhere anxious to take advantage of the plan we offer. While the reason for the trip primarily was to acquaint exhibitors with the plan we were surprised to find many exhibitors anxious to sign up at meetings. His company's franchise plan J was explained to the representatives of 32 local theaters present by John W. Mangham, Jr., head of the Atlanta office of the firm.
