Bonuses for Men Whose Pay Overtime Ban Hit Washington Bureau of THE FILM DAILY Washington — Industry employes whose real wages actually dropped when the President banned overtime pay for work on week-ends and holidays will be awarded bonuses to restore those losses, it appeared Friday. Three conditions must be met: that the premium pay was an imports nt part of the agreed wage for the job, that it had been received regularly over a long period of time and that the collective bargaining history of the employer indicates that this premium pay was considered in establishing the rates for the job and that it was accepted by employes in place of a general wage increase. Operator for Every Machine Hornell — An ordinance requiring that local theaters have one operator for every projection machine is before the Common Council here. City Attorney Albert E. Hollis has termed such a measure unconstitutional.
