War Relief Services, Inc. which, without distinction of race, color or creed, distributes food and clothing CO the suffering in the war-stricken countries of the world, has signed a contract with Chapel Films for the distribution and exhibition of the historical film, "Pastor Angelicus," with a prologue by Francis Cardinal Spellman. Monsignor Fulton J. Sheen will be the narrator of this film which was photographed within the Vatican and brings to the screen, for the first time, glimpses into the daily life of Pope Pius XII.
Bernard Brandt, president of Chapel Films, is planning a Broadway premiere for ''Pastor Angelicus" at Christmas-time. War Relief Services will receive the proceeds from this film to purchase food for starving peoples throughout the world.

Ferguson to Hold Metro Exploitation Meet Here
Second in a series of territorial exploitation meetings will be conducted for M-G-M field men tomorrow at the Hotel Astor by William R. Ferguson, director of exploitation. The tour of Bess, the equine star of "Gallant Bess," and other promotion plans will be discussed.
Attending the one-day meeting will be Floyd Fitzsimmons, Albany and New Haven; Bert McKenzie, Boston; Elliott Foreman, New York and New Jersey; James Ashcraft and Ed Gallner, Philadelphia; Tom Baldridge, Washington, and Howard Herty, advance man for the Bess tour. C. E. Carrier of the home office also will attend.
'Carnegie Hall' to Buchanan
Boris Morros and William Le Baron of Federal Films, have appointed Buchanan and Co. to handle the complete advertising campaign for their pic, "Carnegie Hall."
_A meeting of the executive committee of the Picture Pioneers has been called for tomorrow by President Jack Cohn. To be held at the Waldorf-Astoria, at 1 p.m., plans will be discussed for the annual dinner, scheduled to be held in November.
Applications submitted by 25 candidates will also be acted upon. This number represents the largest ever received so far in advance of any of the dinners held by the Picture Pioneers.
