Regarding "Lab" Prices The following letter has been ceived; "My attention has just been cal to an article appearing in your pn lication of Nov. 15, relative to ' 'Lab men' of the business. "In this article you infer that laboratory men have, by arra ment, increased the cost to the | ducers for laboratory service ered. This is an absolute misst; ment of fact. The writer is probal as familiar as anyone in the busin with the cost of printing and" charges made by the various la atories. "There is no agreement and th never has been any among the lab atory proprietors as to a price sch ule for printing. Prices have been increased by recognized lab atories in the business beyond figure which covers increased cost operation — a legitimate profit for s vices rendered. "Before printing an article of I ' kind, which does great injury tc lot of companies in this industry, investigation of the facts would a fair way to proceed so that stigma of your assertions could avoided.
