New Theater for Brooklyn
The southeast corner of Gates and Tompkins Aves., Brooklyn, will be renovated into a picture theater at a cost of $150,000. A New York syndicate has purchased the group of flats and buildings on the site.
The new theater will be two blocks away from the Sumner, which is enjoying an unusual business because of its central location and lack of opposition from other theaters which are too far distant to materially affect its business.
