Canton, O. — Fred Ricker, part owner of the Windsor, is operating the house following the recent death of Charles Shearer. Roslyn, L. I. — The Tower, burned a few months ago, will be rebuilt. Business people are associated with Harry Levy in rebuilding the house. Detroit — Charles Deardoff of the M-G-M staff in Cleveland came here to assist William G. Bishop, local publicity chief, in putting over group publicity on "Trader Horn." Keansburg, N. J. — The Casino has been opened for the summer by Mrs. Gravany. Philadelphia — Henry Taylor has .i-<umed charge of the new Allen. Columbus — Everett Bennet has leased the Exhibit, one of the oldest local picture houses. He is redecorating it and installing RCA Photophone. Pittsburgh — Loew's Aldine has closed tor the summer. Soldiers Grove, Wis. — Mel Helgerson has disposed of his Electric here to Bailey & Foss. Kansas City— Tom Baldwin, Tiffany salesman, and R. B. Thompson of the RKO Pathe forces, are out of the film business temporarily. Toledo — The opening of the Avalon has been postponed to June 19, according to Jack O'Connell, owner. Dallas — Fox's branch office, under the management of C. E. Hilgers, moves this week to its new home at Wood and St. Paul Sts. Santa Cruz, Cal. — Frank McCauley is now managing both Golden State houses here. Hopewell Junction, N. J. — The Emmadine has been taken over by Robert O'Keefe. Mosinee, Wis. — C. E. Mathews and Paul Nettland have relinquished the Mosinee to L. R. Keefe. Waco, Tex. — Jesse Oakes opening the Lyric. is re Philadelphia — Brandcn E. Warren formerly manager of the Paramount exchange, has gone to Winchester, Va., as assistant manager of the Capitol. Detroit — Jack Sampson, formerly president of the Film Board of Trade, is now covering the eastern part of the state for Pathe. Columbus Grove, O. — Raymond Dishong has closed the Roma for the summer. Croyden, Pa. — George Muller has taken over the Manor. Spring Valley, Wis. — The Opera House has been taken over by F. P. Moore from George Kyle. Cleveland — Arthur Himmelein, former owner of the Plaza, Sandusky, is managing the Lincoln, one of the houses belonging to Associated Theaters. Racine, Wis. — Fox's State was dark from June 7 to June 13 for completion of remodeling. Bob Ungerfeld is manager of the State.
