The house seats about 3,100 and is regarded as the most modern in Europe. Equipment, scenic effects and decorations were supplied by Peter Clark, Major Equipment Co. and Michael Angelo Studios. Following the premiere, which is set for Dec. 1 with the President of France and other noted personages present, Eberson will return to New York. M'CARTHY STARTS AT FOX Charles E. McCarthy, who resigned from Paramount after a service of 15 years, yesterday took up his new duties as director of publicity and advertising at Fox. Signing of McCarthy by Fox was first published in The Film Daily of Oct. 12. Glenn Griswold, who has been head of publicity and advertising, assumes new duties in connection with Fox financial affairs, says S. R.
