Y.— New setup of the NRA will consist of three distinct divisions — legislative, judicial and administrative— with General Johnson continuing as Administrator, it is indicated following preliminary conferences between the President and Johnson. The Johnson idea of a board to govern NRA is expected to go into effect. U. S. PRODUCT GAINS IN CANADIAN MARKET Ottawa — In the four-month period ending with June of this year, the U. S. supplied 66.2 per cent of the film footage imported by Canada, compared with 58.3 per cent a year ago, according to figures compiled by A. F. Peterson, Asst. U. S. Trade Commissioner. Though mid-summer box-office receipts have been only fair, and dual bills prevail in all but leading firstrun houses, exhibitors in the Dominion expect a substantial seasonal increase in attendance this fall. Hays, J. J. McCarthy and other members of the Hays office. The conference will be continued at another meeting on Monday, after which a statement is to be issued. Arguments against the increase in music tax planned by American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers will be formally laid before the U. S. Attorney-General in Washington today when members of the exhibitor Emergency Committee and their attorneys will confer with him there.
