Whitney Plans to Produce Four Features in England London (By Cable) — ■ John Hay (Jock) Whitney, completing negotiations with Alexander Korda for, production space at the Denham studios this spring, states that one of two features will be filmed in Technicolor. One production will be for Selznick International and the other, which mav also be done in Technicolor if Whitney is satisfied with public reaction, will be made for Pioneer Pictures. Italian nn'ze picture, has been held over for a second week at the World. "Torritoriale Milizia" is slated to follow. GET CLE. HEARING I SALE OF ASSETS Wilmington, Del. — Chancellor Josiah O. Wolcott of the Court of Chancery yesterday set April 28 for a hearing on a petition of the reorganization committee of General Theaters Equipment, Inc., which has asked for an order for the sale of assets and a receivership of the property of the company. The petitioners — ithe reorganization committee — is acting under the plan of agreement and reorganization of August 31 last. They say the sale of assets and property of G. T. E. and of the receivership estate should be ordered and offered in such parcels as may appear appropriate after the hearing. Chancellor Wolcott yesterday also made an order approving the action taken by the debenture holders' committee constituted under a certain deposit agreement dated February 10, 1932 relating to the ten-year six per cent convertible gold debentures of G. T. E., and by the reorganization committee. GB Will Budget Product As A Pictures — Bernerd The 24 pictures to be distributed here next season by G-B are being budgeted as A pictures and consequently G-B sales policy will be changed and rentals will be increased, it was said yesterday by Jeffrey Bernerd, G-B general manager, on arriving from Hollywood. Bernerd will remain here for three months during which time he will supervise distribution here, he stated. G-B will increase its sales force next season. Bernerd said he talked yesterday over the transatlantic telephone to Mark Ostrer, G-B head, in London and that Ostrer said he was not selling out his controlling interest in G-B to 20th Century-Fox.
