TRAILERS
NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE CORPORATION, through arrangement with Columbia. Fox. M.C.M.. Paramount, Radio Pictures, R.K.O.-Pathe, Tiffany, Universal, United Artists, and many independent distributors and producers, has exclusive rights to the production and distribution of talking, sound and silent trailers containing actual scenes from the negative o^ every production released by these companies. While National Screen Service continues to produce trailers containing silent scenes, this and other similar types of silent service are being rapidly superseded by the increasing demand for trailers with talk or sound. Distribution is made from four central points in the United States — New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. National Screen Service also maintains sales offices in principal key cities of the country. In addition to the trailer service on features, the company, through its New York, Chicago, Dallas and Hollywood studios, produces special animated pictorial frallers, silent or sound, animated presentation leaders, advertising films, novelty trailers, and all forms of special service work.
ADVANCE TRAILER SERVICE CORPORATION, specializes in talking sound trailers on all feature productions consisting of still portraits of stars and players, trick animation and art effects, together with a descriptive vocal announcement by a broadcast voice, and complete musical accompaniments. Other Advance types of service are Synchronized Animated Pictorials, without vocal effects and Animated Pictorials without voice or musical effects. Also produces all types of special service work. The decreased use of silent trailers will shortly make this type of service obsolete in the same sense that the silent picture has practically passed into oblivion.
