Su-Comision Reguladora de la Industria de la Cinematografia was created on Oct. 20, 1939, and the regulations will not be published until it is approved. Spnaish, Italian and English films lead the market PRODUCTION — During 1938 and 1939 12 "Spanish" features were produced, mainly as war propaganda, in Germany and Italy, by Spanish concerns. Companies were sent abroad when the studios in Madrid and Barcelona were not available. TAXATION — -Import duty is 25 gold pasetas per kilo, plus surtaxes.
