His career, before he arrived in Hollywood, varied from working on a ranch in Arizona to being a collector of antiques and fine paintings. Irving Pichel here makes his first film appearance. He is a graduate of Harvard, and a pioneer of the Little Theatre movement in America. Veda Buckland was last seen in films twelve years ago, when she played in pictures with Blanche Sweet and Maisie Doro, before her return in ' The Green Murder Case " and " The Texan."
