Mr. Geddes, who retired August 1 as Executive Vice Presi¬ dent and Secretary of the Radio-Television Manufacturers’ Associa¬ tion, had been with that organization since 1927* He is a charter member of the Trade Association Executives. Robert C. Hlbben, President of the Trade Association group, cited Mr. Geddes’ contribution to the trade organization movement at a luncheon in the Mayflower Hotel. Before entering trade association work, Mr. Geddes was manager of the Washington Bureau of the United Press and later was Chief of the Associated Press' Capitol staff. He was on the public relations staff of the Sinclair Oil Co. during the Teapot Dome oil investigation in 1924.
