Pratt this week recommended that the application of the American Telephone & Telegraph Company to change one of the frequencies of its Station WOO, a coastal radio tele~ phone station in New Jersey, from 8630 to 8560 kilocycles, be denied on the ground that it would be contrary to General Order No. 88, The Kunsky-Trendle Broadcasting Corporation, operator of WXYZ, Detroit, Mich. , has filed an appeal in the District Court of Appeals against the decision of the Federal Radio Commission grant¬ ing KLPM a construction permit for 1240 kilocycles, on which WXYZ broadcasts, with 250 watts and half-time.
