This irreplaceable collection will be displayed by private owners at Lockheed Burbank Airport on Saturday, September 17, from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and on Sun- day, September 18, from 10:00 A.M. ot 4:00 P.M. There will be no admission Charge — parking free — everyone welcome — children will love it. Additional attractions will include exhibits of model airplanes by mem- bers of the Valley Youth Foundation and the North American Flight Mas¬ ters. The Valley Airman’s Associa¬ tion in Cooperation with the 99’s — a woman’s flying group — will offer airplane rides for 2$ a passenger pound. An expected 30 to 40 antique air¬ craft will fly in from all over the coun- try—pilots from Orange County, San¬ ta Paula, Ontario, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, San Diego and Oakland/ Columbia airports will compete for trophies. At least 53 years of flying will be represented. Vintage cars, some dating back to a 1909 Kassil Kar, and a 1903 & 1904 Cadillac, a 1912 & 1915 Packard, and a 1917 Dodge, will be on display.
