He has au¬ thored a language testbook called “Easy Spanish”, which teaches the language by a unique linking of Spanish words to similar English words. He is presently writing “The Keystone Kops Capture Virginia Richmond” and “The Keystone Kops in Four of a Kind.” When not engaged in writing, di¬ recting, or producing his own films, he invents things (such as ‘Sole Saver’, a compund which, when ap¬ plied to the sole of a shoe, makes that shoe imperishable). He has quite a fan following as a DJ on radio station KALI. For recreation, Eddie tackles the Hollywood hills on his bike or goes for a daily swim at the YMCA. At the next big Southern California parade, watch for the Keystone Kops. You’ll find Eddie right in the middle of the fun. ITALIAN STAR SIGNED FOR "MEANWHILE , FAR FROM THE FRONT" Fabrizio Mioni, Italian stage and screen star who was first seen by American audiences in “Hercules,” has been signed for a feature role in the Universal-Albion Corp. co¬ production, “Meanwhile, Far From the Front,” starring Paul Newman and Sylva Koscina, which Jack Smight is directing for producer Hal E. Chester and co-producer Leo L. Fuchs. VOICES OF 'SHAZZAN' Marvin Miller, Jerry Dexter and Janet Waldo have been cast by Hanna-Barbera Productions to pro¬ vide the voice characterizations for “Shazzan,” new half-hour animated adventure series which debuts on CBS-TV this fall. TAYLOR, BURTON TO STAR IN "THE PUBLIC EYE" Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton have been signed by Uni¬ versal Studio to star in Ross Hunt¬ er’s production of “The Public Eye.” The picture, scripted by the noted British playwright, Peter Shaffer, from his own London and Broadway stage hit, will be filmed in Techni¬ color in England starting in August. 20
