"Doctor Doolittle" Premiere BY GEORGE L. BAGNALL President of the Motion Picture and Television Relief Fund Julie Andrews and Burt Lancaster, Co-Chairman of "Dr. Dolittle" premiere benetitting the Motion Picture and Television Relief Fund. N ow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country! _ Charity begins at home! Et cetera. No matter what appeal I might make-it has already been said and written a million times. But when such an appeal concerns Hollywood, there are no compulsions that could stop me from repeating myself over and over again. When I think of Hollywood, of course, I’m thinking of the Motion Picture and Televisioh Relief Fund. Right now I am selling tickets to 20th Century-Fox’s West Coast pre¬ miere of the Arthur P. Jacobs’ pro¬ duction of “Doctor Dolittle,” star¬ ring Rex Harrison, Samantha Eggar and Anthony Newley. The date to remember is Thurs¬ day, December 21, 1967. The place is the Paramount Theatre in Holly¬ wood. And, most important as far as the people of Hollywood are con¬ cerned, all proceeds will go to the Fund’s $40-million Endowment and Building Campaign. 6
