In the Paramount Pictures’ Techni¬ color and Panavision comedy saga about the annual European auto endurance classic as it was in its early years-the late 1920’s-the American film star will play a young Harvard graduate auto enthusiast who drives an early American sports car of his own design over the grueling winter course. Romance along the way occurs with British star Susan Hampshire and he encounters rivalry with a jealous titled Englishman, acted by Terry-Thomas.
