Birmingham Spring Festival
The Birmingham International Educational Film Festival is an internationally noted competition to recognize excellence in films designed for classroom and other educational situations.
Producers and distributors of educational films -including independent and student producers are encouraged to submit their films.
Students from the Birmingham metropolitan area will be invited to special screenings at the University of Alabama in Birmingham on March 27-28 and April 1. Then, from April 13-23, various top films will be shown to the public at selected sites throughout the Birmingham area as an integral part of the celebrations surrounding the Festival of Arts.

Nino Zucchelli, director of the “Mostra Internazionale del Film d‘Autore,” San Remo announces the 21st edition of the Mostra will take place at the Ariston Centre, Sanremo, March 25-31, 1978. The Festival will again award the Great Prize of five million lire to be equally split between the director and the producer of the winning film, according to the decisions of an International Jury.
