She didn't try to get into pictures, for Broadway was good to her. She wanted only to rubberneck. One night she walked into the Trocadero with some friends and everyone turned to look at her. Marian turned around to see the attraction, when a friend hissed, "Dopey, they're looking at you." Marian in a skintight black gown was something to look at twice! She sat at a table and didn't dance once. This further intrigued the customers and the club buzzed about the mysterious blonde with the sensational face and figure. In real life, however, she's been going with the same boy for four years because she wants to be sure it's the real thing and will last.
