ATLAS PUBLISHING GO 333 Atlas Bank Bldg., Cincinnati, Ohio LIST No. 10 Prominent Film-Producing Companies (Arranged in Alphabetic Order for Convenience.) PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: — We trust our student will realize that the compilation of this list, if undertaken by the individual ^writer, would cost in postage and labor far more than price of this complete text-book, and will thus appreciate IN FULL the convenient reference given. We show requirements of majority of the companies at time this list was compiled. It would be impossible for us to keep this list absolutely authentic unless we printed a new list every few weeks. It is therefore advisable to keep posted on the market by occasionally reading some trade journal devoted to the moving picture industry, purchased at any news-stand for ten cents; these journals give notices of new companies, changes in addresses, etc. Perhaps a company will have a studio at Los Angeles now and six months hence will move it to Jacksonville, Fla. Most of the companies, however, are located permanently at the addresses given, and have been for years; but we give this information to avoid censure should some student occasionally find an address apparently in error. Remember that all companies prefer typewritten manuscript, but there are many who will be glad to consider script written in a neat, legible hand. The studios on following list which we have marked with a star in front of names are the ones who have advised us that the}' will consider scripts written in a legible hand. There are a few companies advising us that they are not in the market AT THE PRESENT TIME, and these we have ♦AMERICAN FILM MFG. This list is accepted by purchaser with distinct understanding that Atlas Publishing Co., is in no way responsible for the loss or non-return of any manuscripts -that may be forwarded to any of the companies listed below. This agreement is due to fact that manuscript may be misdirected by the author, by the film company in returning it, lost in the mails, or several other causes beyond control.
