Invece di trasportarci in luoghi di fantasia, di farci sconfinare dal nostro piccolo mondo, di allargarci l'orizzonte e di darci un'altra aria da respirare, ci incatena ad una realtà precisa, ci dà del vasto mondo, un'immagine piccola, mecca- nica, fredda, inutile. La folla ha sentito oscuramente queste ragioni, annoiandosi, e il film di paesaggio è caduto : avrà forse un valore documentario o didascalico, ma non ha interesse come spettacolo.
