The International Congress of Educational and Instructional Cinematography, having examined the question of the use of the school film, states as follows : 1) that the film should be considered as a didactic auxiliary of the greatest importance, to be used for all subjects for which it is suited, taking into account the particular character of each subject and the degree of development of the pupils ; 2) that no subject of whatever nature need be excluded a priori from projection, either by slides or motion pictures ; but that if the film is ordinarily used for scientific teaching according to the nature of the subjects, it should be used with great care ;
