Assisted the late Arthur Hill in building a number of kinemas now known as the Isle of Wight Theatres, Ltd. Entered film business in 1938 as Receiver for Independent Film Distributors, Ltd. Associated with Renown Pictures Corpn., Ltd., since its inception, and is now its managing director.
