A Joint Advisory Committee has been established consisting of representatives of the B.F.P.A. and of the Film Artistes Association. This
Committee, under the chairmanship of Weston Drury, has been authorised to discuss any matter affecting the activities of the Association.
Crowd artistes given engagements at the Central Casting Office will be charged no commission. Hitherto 5-10 per cent, has been payable to the agency providing the engagement. The cost of operations will be recouped from the producers and studios who make use of the services of the Association.

Objects : This Committee of the above Association has operated for some years as an information centre for scientific film societies and others interested in the scientific film, for getting science represented as truthfully and as widely as possible on the screen.
The Committee of Society publishes a graded list of scientific films, which carries over 400 entries, and from which local film societies and sometimes cinemas select programmes.
Part of the Committee's objective is to keep watch on the accuracy of films which contain reference either to scientific laws, to the lives of scientists or any other aspects of science.
To film producers who intend to touch on these subjects they offer the advice of scientists who are members of this Association.
